Book a Vancouver Island Golf Trip
Mild, oceanside golf a ferry ride from Vancouver. Tee times at the Island's best, lined up for you.
Plan your tripA Vancouver Island golf trip is a mild-climate, ocean-side escape just across the water from Vancouver. The Island's courses run from Victoria in the south up through Nanaimo and the Comox Valley, many of them right on the coast, and the gentle weather keeps them in play long after the mountain courses have closed. Fairways arranges the tee times, so you choose the courses and dates and we handle the booking.
Mild, oceanside golf a ferry ride from Vancouver
Vancouver Island is the gentle end of BC golf, with a mild coastal climate that keeps the courses playable for much of the year and water views on most of them.
- Fairwinds, Nanoose BayAn 18-hole Les Furber design with ocean views and tree-lined, rainforest fairways, just north of Nanaimo.
- Bear Mountain, VictoriaThe club bills it as "Canada's only 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf," with the Mountain and Valley courses above Victoria.
- Crown Isle, CourtenayA resort course in the Comox Valley up-island, an easy add-on if you are heading north.
Getting to the Island
Most golfers reach Vancouver Island by ferry from the Lower Mainland, with sailings from Tsawwassen and Horseshoe Bay, or by a short flight into Victoria, Nanaimo or Comox. Once you are on the Island, the courses sit close enough together for an easy long-weekend loop.
The mild climate is the draw. The Island opens earlier and closes later than most of the country, so it suits a shoulder-season trip when the mountain courses are still under snow.
