Book a BC Golf Trip
Ocean links on Vancouver Island, desert fairways in the Okanagan, mountain courses in the Kootenays. Tell us where you want to play and we line up the tee times.
Plan your tripA British Columbia golf trip is a multi-course road trip that can take in oceanfront courses on Vancouver Island, desert fairways in the Okanagan, and mountain layouts in the Kootenays, often inside a single week. Fairways arranges the tee times across the province, so you choose the courses and dates and we handle the booking. You can play beside the Pacific in the morning and tee off near the U.S. border two days later, and the style of golf changes as fast as the scenery.
Fairways plans the whole trip for you. Tell us the courses you want and the dates that work, and we line up your tee times across BC and handle the details. One enquiry, one point of contact, every course sorted.
Four regions, coast to mountains
BC golf divides into four main regions, each with its own climate, terrain, and season: Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, the Kootenays, and the Sea to Sky corridor. Here is what each is known for and where Fairways arranges tee times.
Vancouver Island
The Island is the mild end of BC golf, playable for most of the year and built around water views. It is an easy fly-in or ferry trip from Vancouver, and the courses sit close enough together for a long weekend.
- Fairwinds, Nanoose Bay An 18-hole Les Furber design with ocean views and tree-lined, rainforest fairways. (official site)
- Bear Mountain, Victoria Canada's only 36 holes of Nicklaus Design golf, the Mountain and Valley courses. (official site)
- Crown Isle, Courtenay A resort course in the Comox Valley, an easy add-on heading up-island.
The Okanagan
The Okanagan is BC's golf-and-wine belt. Summers are hot and dry, the season runs long, and the courses are stitched between vineyards and lakes from Kelowna south to the border.
- Tower Ranch, Kelowna A hillside course above the city with valley and lake views.
- The Harvest, Kelowna A walkable parkland layout set among working orchards.
- Osoyoos Desert Gold, Osoyoos In the heart of Canada's only desert, so the season starts early and ends late.
The Kootenays
The Kootenays and Columbia Valley are the quiet pick. Drive times are longer, but green fees are gentler and the mountain backdrops are hard to beat. A good fit if you want to spread rounds over a road trip.
- Eagle Ranch, Invermere A canyon-and-meadow course in the Columbia Valley.
- Shadow Mountain and Wildstone, Cranbrook Two contrasting Cranbrook courses, an easy 36-in-a-day pairing.
- Golden, Golden A riverside course ringed by the Purcell and Rocky Mountains.
Sea to Sky
The corridor north of Vancouver puts golf within an hour of the city. It works as a day trip or as the first stop on a longer loop toward the Interior.
- Furry Creek, West Vancouver area An oceanfront course on the Sea to Sky Highway, one of the most photographed layouts in the province.
When is golf season in BC?
Most BC courses are in full swing from May through September, with shoulder rounds in April and October depending on the region. The coast and the South Okanagan open earliest and close latest.
If you want the longest possible season, head south. Osoyoos sits in what the Town of Osoyoos calls "Canada's only desert environment," which means warm, dry golf weather well into the fall. Vancouver Island runs a close second thanks to its mild coastal climate. The Kootenays and mountain courses have the shortest window, roughly late spring through early fall.
For a multi-region trip, June and September are the sweet spots. You get reliable weather almost everywhere, and rates ease off the mid-summer peak.

Golf trips in BC, answered
When is the best time for a golf trip in BC?
June and September are the safest bets for a trip that crosses regions. The weather is reliable almost everywhere, and green fees sit below the July and August peak. If you only care about playing as early or as late as possible, the South Okanagan and Vancouver Island have the longest seasons.
Which BC courses can I play on a Fairways trip?
Fairways arranges tee times across four areas: Vancouver Island, the Okanagan, the Kootenays, and the Sea to Sky corridor. That includes Fairwinds and Bear Mountain on the Island, Tower Ranch and Osoyoos Desert Gold in the Okanagan, and Eagle Ranch and Golden in the Kootenays, among others. Tell us the ones you want and we line up the times.
How much does a BC golf trip cost?
It depends on the courses you choose, how many rounds you play, and the time of year. BC green fees range widely, from value mountain courses to premium resort layouts. Tell us your trip and we come back with the courses, tee times, and current rates so you see the total before you commit.
Do I have to book each course separately?
No. Send one enquiry with the courses and dates you want, and we arrange every tee time for you. One point of contact handles the whole trip, so you are not calling each pro shop yourself.
Can you arrange Bear Mountain and the premium courses?
Yes. Bear Mountain's 36 holes of Nicklaus Design and other marquee BC courses are part of what we arrange. Some premium courses have limited tee-time access, so the earlier you share your dates, the better we can lock them in.
Can I bring guests on a BC golf trip?
Yes. Group trips are common. Tell us your group size and we arrange tee times for everyone together, which makes it easy to organize a buddies trip or a corporate outing.
