Links golf on Puget Sound, including U.S. Open host Chambers Bay. A short drive south of the border, lined up for you.

Plan your trip

A Pacific Northwest golf trip is a links-golf trip, centred on the firm, fescue-lined courses around Puget Sound in Washington State. For golfers in British Columbia it is a short drive south of the border, and the headline course, Chambers Bay, hosted the 2015 U.S. Open. Fairways arranges the tee times, so you choose the courses and dates and we handle the booking.

The Pacific Northwest is where the golf turns links: firm, fescue-lined courses on the water, a short hop south of the border for BC golfers.

Chambers Bay

The Robert Trent Jones Jr. links on Puget Sound that hosted "the first U.S. Open in the Pacific Northwest" in 2015. A walking, fescue-and-firm-ground course with one famous lone fir. Read the full Chambers Bay guide.

The Home Course, DuPont

A links-style course south of Tacoma, a frequent host of state and regional championships, and an easy pairing with a Chambers Bay round.

Crossing the border to play

For golfers in BC, the Puget Sound courses are closer than much of their own province. Chambers Bay sits near Tacoma, a manageable drive south of the Vancouver border crossing. Bring a passport, allow time at the border, and remember that green fees are charged in U.S. dollars.

The PNW season runs longer than the BC interior thanks to the mild coastal climate, though summer is the driest and most reliable stretch.
